I’m leaving for Virginia and D.C. which I’m really excited about, but the week I’m away is the week that most of my friends go off to college. Then I come back and have a day home before leaving for New Orleans. Fridays and being home in general is going to be quiet with everyone gone and goodbyes are sad. I saw my friend in his dorm room and I think it really hit me that high school is ending and this whole new phase is starting and that no one will be in the same spot as anyone else again, but we’re all going our own way. In a year I’ll probably be packed. Next year is going to be a long year of hs. I’m looking forward to road tripping with my mom, and I think getting into the swing of school will make everything feel natural again because we’ll all be busy. Anna is also gone for another three years or so..
